Our Story
Bud City opened in Newton to give Sussex County a real local dispensary, the kind of place where the staff knows the menu and knows your name. That stays.
What’s new is the team behind it. Hashery built its name in Hackensack on curation and product knowledge, bringing in great growers, the best hash in the state, and budtenders who actually know the difference. Team SHO started in New Jersey, spent years in California building solventless hash-making equipment, and came home to do retail the right way.
Now that same approach is coming to Newton.
What’s Changing
We’re bringing in small-batch cultivators and local New Jersey growers, the kind of flower you won’t find on every shelf in the state. Then we’re going deep on solventless, with live rosin, hash and infused pre-rolls for people who care how it’s made.
We’re redesigning the store from the ceiling down: cleaner, warmer, and built around how you actually shop. Doors stay open throughout.
The budtenders you know are staying, with more training, more product knowledge and more backup.
HA$H CA$H rewards are coming to Newton, along with daily deals and weekly specials. More ways to save every time you visit.
