Valentine’s Day can feel full of pressure, grand gestures and expectations. We see this season a bit differently, with an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with yourself. It’s a gentle reminder to create space for balance and presence.
Bud City is proud to offer recurring and seasonal experiences that support mindfulness in everyday life. Whether you are brand new to meditation or just looking for a reset, our community events are designed to feel approachable and pressure-free.
Meditation Made Simple at Bud City

Chakras as a Tool for Reflection
Chakras are often described as energy centers connected to different aspects of emotional and physical awareness. They can be used as a simple framework for reflection and intention setting as a way to check in with how you are feeling.
- Root Chakra
The root chakra is commonly associated with stability, safety, and feeling grounded. In educational settings, it is often paired with earthy terpene profiles such as myrcene and caryophyllene. - Sacral Chakra
Connected to creativity, pleasure, and emotional flow, the sacral chakra is frequently linked to brighter terpene aromas. Limonene is often mentioned for its fresh and uplifting scent. - Solar Plexus Chakra
The solar plexus chakra is associated with confidence, motivation, and personal power. Terpenes like pinene are commonly discussed alongside this chakra for their crisp, energizing aroma. - Heart Chakra
Associated with love, compassion, and connection to self and others, the heart chakra is often explored through softer sensory experiences. Terpenes such as linalool are frequently highlighted for their gentle, floral aroma. - Throat Chakra
The throat chakra is connected to communication and self expression. Terpenes like pinene and terpinolene are often mentioned in educational contexts for their clear and expressive aromatic qualities. - Third Eye Chakra
Focused on intuition and awareness, the third eye chakra is commonly paired with more layered terpene profiles. Terpinolene is often described as complex and multifaceted. - Crown Chakra
Associated with mindfulness and a sense of connection, the crown chakra is often paired with gentle and balanced terpene profiles such as nerolidol.
Using Terpenes with Intention
Terpenes are the aromatic compounds found in many plants, including cannabis. Exploring terpenes through the lens of mindfulness can be a way to slow down and notice what you enjoy.
Do you enjoy a musky and earthy profile? Perhaps fruity and citrus? Aroma, flavor, and personal experience can all play a role in how you choose products.

A Mindful Meditation Collection Curated for Intention
To support moments of grounding and reflection, Bud City has curated a Mindful Meditation collection available on our menu. This collection brings together products selected for their terpene profiles, aromas, and overall vibe that many people enjoy pairing with quiet moments, journaling, meditation, or simply slowing down.
These selections are meant to complement your personal ritual, whether that looks like sitting in stillness, taking a mindful walk, or setting aside time for self care. Everyone’s experience is different, and our team is always happy to help you explore options based on aroma preferences and intention!
You can explore the full Mindful Meditation Collection HERE.
When browsing the collection, consider approaching it the same way you would a mindfulness practice. Slow it down. What draws your attention? Pay special attention to terpene profiles, scent descriptions and how they align with the chakra or intention you are focusing on that day.
